Don’t throw anything at me, but I recently saw Elf for the first time… I honestly don’t see what the appeal is. I just didn’t think it was very good. And that’s saying something because I really love Will Ferrell. So I was thinking about the funniest stuff I’ve seen him do over the years.
Off the top of my head, there are several moments that come to mind.
Of course, there’s ”More Cowbell!”
I’ll never get tired of watching that.
Or maybe it’s when he yelled at his mom for meatloaf on Wedding Crashers.
Another personal favorite is the Jesus prayer that he delivers as Ricky Bobby. I think I like this one so much because I lived in the south for a few years and this is not really all that fictional.
And that’s just scratching the surface.
But if I really had to narrow it down to just one thing, his Funny or Die sketch with Pearl the landlady would have to be number one in my heart. Watch this 1000 times, and then watch it 1000 more.
I agree! Love Will Ferrell. But Elf wasn’t his best work. But there’s actually one WF turd thats worse than Elf…………..Casa De Mi Padre. $6 million to make and $8 million at the box office. It was so bad that WF should track down the people who saw it and personally give each one of them their money back, plus vouchers for popcorn and soda.
Never even heard of Casa De Mi Padre. I have the 8 pound 6 ounce Baby Jesus to thank for that.
